It was an interesting week to say the least. I saw a good friend who's back from the air force and threw a big bbq for him. Friends are great things to have. I had this thought and reminisced the great summers from last year and how I only have a few weeks of school left before I'm free. With this time of mine slowly growing more and more sacred as finals approach, I still find myself in front of the computer doing mundane things. Speaking of school, my communication professor keeps reminding the class how our generation craves attention and the idea of staying relevant and I thought about that at the bbq. With all of these different ways to document yourself to the public, there's no wonder we're so attention craved. I personally believe this is something that I don't struggle with, but in general, I'd say yes, our generation is very self-driven instead of family driven. Interpersonal communication is a very interesting class. Onto designing, my schedule the past few days have been very low effort as I've stayed relatively work free and pretty much just relaxed. I have a bunch of embroidery to get done for a friend and even more designs to work on for the 2nd drop, but all is well. Soon, it'll all come together and I'll be seeing the the results of my work whether that be a failure or a success. I hope for the latter and will place my heart into this process. It's all for who I am and who I want others to see me as. I create for me and for what I believe my art is. Thank you for reading and I hope you have a great week!
