Today, I got up and out of the house to grab some things to spruce up the liveliness of my room. Sadly, only 1 of the 2 things could be completed. No big deal. I understand that I haven't posted any update in a long time as summer has practically grasped me by my balls and won't let go. I'm still taking a few classes at the moment, but it's nothing I can't manage. My daily schedule's been deliciously filled with a whole lot of nothing, typical of my summers. Video gaming and such is what I typically find myself doing to fill the void. Anything to stop myself from thinking of my impending year of doom with the insane number of credits I'm taking. Don't remind me. In an unrelated note, I let out some good tears today just thinking about the sacrifices my and our parents make for us when I and/or we can forget just what they have done. I'm not saying I'm some devil to my parents, i'm not, but I can definitely improve my attitude and show some gratitude for their humility. This then led to my googling of how other people repaid their parents which also lead to a greater number of tears falling.
Parnika Tandon says, "Your happiness combined with their happiness is the best gift that you can give them. Talk to them , tell them about your day , ask them about how their day went ; take them to places that they have always wanted to go but never could , because they had to care for your needs first; care for their every need, make sure they don’t sleep with any tension, make sure they know that you will always be there for them,no matter what ; make sure they know that they are not a burden upon you, tell them that you are happy , tell them how grateful you are that you got parents like them, make sure you never become a source of discomfort to them , make sure that they talk about you with pride !"
This and many other quotes baffled me because of their overwhelmingly underwhelming message. Almost all of them just have to do something about treating your parents with respect, period. At all ages, respect.
This was an interesting night to say the least, but I assure you, I am not having any sort of mid-life crisis, I am merely speculating on a topic I think people miss or forget quite easily.
The brand on the other hand is coming along. I almost have all of the fine details ironed out, I just have to order bulk within the next week or so so I can get the final samples. I anticipate the first release will happen around mid to late august, which is not when I originally planned for, but it always goes better in my head. Quality over quantity.
Have a nice day.
